Student Project: Cereal Killers Trailer

So, for my first promotion of a student project, I'll be promoting Cherise Alexander and my own project: Cereal Killers Trailer. This project was made for TEL T-353 Audio Production. The class is a very interesting class for those who are looking at which production classes to take in upcoming semesters. The work load isn't too heavy and you learn about a section of production that is very underrated and overlooked. As for the project, the guidelines given was to make either a comedy sketch or movie trailer. After much deliberation and brainstorming, we came up with the idea of a horror trailer where cereal cartoon characters come to life out of their boxes and start to kill people. With no video needed, the project allowed great freedom to the possibilities of what could be done. Over 15-20 hours was put into this project from start to finish. Overall, the trailer came out very well, it moves the audience from one emotion to another in a quick pace. Furthermore, a full space was created with the use of pans, reverbs, volume, and other effects. If this was a real trailer for an actual film, I know I would be looking forward to the movie. Hope you all enjoy!

Note: To fully maximize the experience of the trailer, use a good pair of noise canceling headphones or a good set of speakers.

Film Generation X is FINALLY underway...

So, a little boy by the name of Edward Wu had a dream one day... a dream that would be greater than the 7 world wonders combined. Well... maybe not that drastic, but had a really really really cool idea. He wanted to start a blog for not only mainstream films and reviews, top ten lists, etc. But to feature student projects so that they can be promoted to a larger scale and can be seen by the world. He told this idea to a good friend by the name of Alex Lubitz, and the minds collaborated to come up with not only a sweet name, but visions so great that, of course, did not come into fruition. However, with the decision to keep the site small scale, but dreams and visions large, Film Generation X was born...
