Student Project: Cereal Killers Trailer

So, for my first promotion of a student project, I'll be promoting Cherise Alexander and my own project: Cereal Killers Trailer. This project was made for TEL T-353 Audio Production. The class is a very interesting class for those who are looking at which production classes to take in upcoming semesters. The work load isn't too heavy and you learn about a section of production that is very underrated and overlooked. As for the project, the guidelines given was to make either a comedy sketch or movie trailer. After much deliberation and brainstorming, we came up with the idea of a horror trailer where cereal cartoon characters come to life out of their boxes and start to kill people. With no video needed, the project allowed great freedom to the possibilities of what could be done. Over 15-20 hours was put into this project from start to finish. Overall, the trailer came out very well, it moves the audience from one emotion to another in a quick pace. Furthermore, a full space was created with the use of pans, reverbs, volume, and other effects. If this was a real trailer for an actual film, I know I would be looking forward to the movie.
